Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Collins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Las Vegas!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Collins as he jumps to the side.
Shane Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vegas checks the leg kick.

Vegas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Vegas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Collins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Collins tries to get out of the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Check out the look on Vegas's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Vegas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Collins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Collins is trying to control Vegas's posture but Vegas avoids it.
Collins wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Vegas grinds an elbow into Collins's temple.
Collins tries to escape but Vegas is in control.
Vegas lands a decent elbow from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Collins wants to get back to his feet but Vegas drags him back down.
Vegas connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Collins some visible discomfort.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vegas advances nicely into full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vegas is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Collins is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Collins flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Vegas anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Collins and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Vegas slips an arm under Collins chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Vegas has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Vegas is squeezing on Collins like an anaconda would it's prey. Collins fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Las Vegas!
