Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Wait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wait kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Danger Zone. Guerra comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blink-182 - Heart's All Gone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wait stuffs the takedown attempt from Guerra. Guerra gets slowly back to his feet.
Wait takes a swing at Guerra's ribcage but misses.
Wait bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Guerra's head.

Guerra drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wait manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Guerra really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wait throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Guerra because Wait loaded up on that one.
Wait misses with a head shot.
Wait unloads with some shots from mount but Guerra bucks and avoids them well.

Guerra is squirming around, avoiding Wait's attempts to control the action.
Guerra wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wait.
Wait prevents Guerra from getting the reversal.
Guerra is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Guerra wants to control but Wait is having none of it.
Wait cracks Guerra with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wait will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wait looking to ground and pound but Guerra is blocking nicely.

Wait wants to control the pace but Guerra is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Guerra is looking for a triangle but Wait pushes his legs off easily.
Wait working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wait wants to control from the top but Guerra keeps moving.
Guerra looking for a sweep. Not yet Guerra, not yet.

Wait knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guerra on the ground.
Wait would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Guerra is looking for a triangle but Wait pushes his legs off easily.
Wait has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guerra is proving hard to escape from.

Guerra is looking to cinch up a triangle. Wait throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Guerra's body to avoid the submission. Guerra has instead reached around Wait's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Guerra arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

In his post fight interview, Diego Guerra started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
