Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fiodor Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fiodor Arlovski!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green gets tackled into the cage by Arlovski. Arlovski maintains the clinch.

Arlovski pulls guard effortlessly.
Green engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Arlovski holds on and takes a little breather.
Green controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jeff Green.
Arlovski keeps the fight on the outside.
Arlovski throws a right and a left that Green avoids nicely.
Green walks into a left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Green. Arlovski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Arlovski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Green tries to free his leg and advance position but Arlovski is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jeff Green has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Green looks to score with a jab to the body but Arlovski is just out of range.

Arlovski fails with the takedown.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeff Green will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Green wants to take the fight to the mat but Arlovski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Green manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arlovski manages to get himself to full guard.

Arlovski looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Green has picked Arlovski up and slammed him! Arlovski can't keep hold of the triangle and Green manages to pass to side control!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Arlovski seems a little lost for a moment, as Green dominates the positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arlovski walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Arlovski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Green as he avoids it easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Green takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Green is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Arlovski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Green, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
