The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Dam slips a jab from Bossco.
Bossco looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bossco throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bossco blocks a head kick by Van Dam.
Bossco fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bossco throws a looping overhand right but Van Dam ducks down to avoid it.
Van Dam is looking to land body kicks.

Bossco gets caught napping as Van Dam dives in and scores a takedown. Bossco manages to retain guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Van Dam tries to stand but Bossco is controlling from the bottom.
Van Dam is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Van Dam drops back looking for a leg! Bossco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bossco manages to kick Van Dam off! Van Dam jumps back into Bossco's guard.
