Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Boreling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boreling might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to More than meets the eye. Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Till I Collapse. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boreling fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Boreling swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boreling scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Boreling misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Boreling has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smith takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Smith is trying to control Boreling's posture but Boreling avoids it.
Boreling gets to mount! Smith was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Smith really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boreling connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boreling loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Smith scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Boreling land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Boreling stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl Boreling!
Karl Boreling seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
John Smith was interviewed post fight and said 'I tried my best but he came out the better man'.
