PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bilashki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bilashki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Warriors of Skyrim. Coleman has chosen One Finger And A Fist as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Bilashki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Victor Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman moves out of range of the body kick.
Bilashki misses with a wild combination.
Coleman swats away the attempt to clinch by Bilashki.
Coleman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bilashki throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bilashki looks to clinch
and Coleman counters with a nice uppercut.
Bilashki tries to clinch but Coleman is having none of it.
Coleman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bilashki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coleman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Bilashki closes the distance and pushes Coleman back into the cage.

Bilashki jumps guard but Coleman stands there with Bilashki around his waist. Bilashki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Coleman has had enough of the clinch but Bilashki keeps him there for the moment.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

and Coleman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bilashki is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Bilashki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Coleman.
Coleman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bilashki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Coleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Bilashki moves to clinch but Coleman breaks away
and Coleman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bilashki just misses with a punch to the body.
Coleman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Bilashki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jon Bilashki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bilashki clinches with his opponent.
Coleman misses with a knee to the head.

Bilashki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bilashki just misses with a punch to the body.
Bilashki lands a jab to the nose.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bilashki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Coleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bilashki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bilashki looks to score with a jab to the body but Coleman is just out of range.
Bilashki tries to clinch there but Coleman circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Coleman. No joy for Bilashki on that attempt.

Bilashki wants to clinch.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Coleman - that will leave a mark!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bilashki tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bilashki has closed the distance and engaged Coleman in a clinch.
Bilashki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bilashki lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Coleman or not.
Bilashki lands a nice shot to the body.

Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bilashki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Coleman is nestled in close to Bilashki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bilashki throws a series of strikes that have Coleman backpedaling.

Bilashki gets control of Coleman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bilashki will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
