Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Ahokas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Frettish!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ahokas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Frettish looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ahokas working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Ahokas fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Ahokas sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Frettish is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee asks Ahokas politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ahokas prefers to stall for the moment though.

Ahokas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Frettish cracks Ahokas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ahokas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Frettish circles away quickly and effectively.
Frettish uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ahokas.
