Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vince Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mookie Magaba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir comes to the cage accompanied by Gary Numan - Are Friends Electric . The crowd seem to be enjoying Magaba's choice of entrance music: Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Magaba throws a jab but it's blocked by Noir.
Magaba swinging wildly here.
A slow jab from Magaba misses its intended target.
Noir lands with a slapping head kick.
Noir tries to clinch up but Magaba circles away and keeps his distance.

Noir instigates a clinch.
Noir lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Magaba jumps guard but Noir turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Noir content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Noir throws an elbow that misses.
Noir lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Magaba tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Noir smiles and moves away.

Magaba throws a sloppy head kick
and Noir counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Noir tries a low kick but Magaba avoids it.
Magaba looks to land a right hand but Noir moved out of range.
Vince Noir is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A jab lands there for Magaba.
Magaba throws a sloppy head kick

and Noir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Noir creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Noir is pressed up against the cage. Magaba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Noir down to the mat. Noir avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vince Noir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mookie Magaba.
Magaba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Magaba chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Noir can pounce on him.
Magaba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Noir throws a nice looking combination but Magaba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Some bone on bone action there as Magaba checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Magaba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Magaba might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Magaba closes the distance and clinches up with Noir, looking for a takedown. Magaba pushes Noir against the cage but Noir circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Magaba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Noir throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Noir counters with a nice kick to the body.

Magaba's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noir connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Magaba scrambles back to his feet.
Magaba throws a hook but Noir avoids it easily.
Magaba looks to land a combination but Noir avoids it well.

Magaba throws a sloppy head kick and Noir moves out of range easily.
Noir tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Magaba was well out of range. Poor timing from Noir.
Magaba rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Noir moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Magaba lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Magaba on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Magaba dips to his left and cracks Noir with an uppercut!
Noir turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Noir gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Magaba looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Noir wants to sweep but no luck.
Magaba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magaba slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Magaba tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Noir is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Magaba off and has taken his back!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vince Noir will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Whack! Noir lands a heavy head kick that drops Magaba. The ref tackles Noir to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Magaba was done.
