Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kserkses Milas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milas has chosen This Is Sparta (10hrs) as his entrance music. Kserkses Milas has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Jin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kserkses Milas!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milas takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Milas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Milas misses with an uppercut.
Milas misses with a body shot.
Milas lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Milas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jin. Jin obviously looking to wear him down.
Milas cracks a nice hook into Jin's ribs.
Milas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jin works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Milas will feel that in the morning.

Milas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jin!

Milas walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jin.
Milas looks for a takedown but Jin sprawls well.
Milas connects with a solid leg kick.

Jin misses with a low kick.
Jin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Milas lands with a nice body punch.
Milas walks into a jab.
Milas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jin moves away.
Kserkses Milas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jin counters with a big head kick but Milas shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Milas throws a chopping leg kick but Jin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Milas looks to land a left hand but Jin moved out of range nicely.

Jin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jin walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Milas checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Jin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Milas uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jin has time to react.

Jin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Jin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Milas dips to his left and cracks Jin with an uppercut!
Jin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Milas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jin is able to avoid easily.

Jin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Milas.
Some bone on bone action there as Milas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Milas drops his shoulder and cracks Jin with a huge uppercut! Jin goes down! Can Milas finish him?

Oh Jin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Milas throwing strikes but missing.
Milas throws a big right hand that misses.
Milas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Milas is breathing heavily.
Jin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Milas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Milas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Milas passes into half guard.
Kserkses Milas has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Milas throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Milas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jin is just riding it out for now. Milas eventually gives up the hold.

Kserkses Milas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ryu Jin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kserkses Milas.
