Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Turd Fergisson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 2, fighting out of London, Anton Walter!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter feints a jab promting Fergisson to slip. Walter then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fergisson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Fergisson moves into range and clinches up with Walter.
Walter is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Fergisson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Fergisson gets control of Walter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fergisson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Walter tries to stand but Fergisson is controlling from the bottom.
Fergisson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Fergisson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Walter stands and steps away. Fergisson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Fergisson dives in and scores a takedown into Walter's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We're going to have a standup here because Turd Fergisson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Walter's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Walter duly obliges.
Walter throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Fergisson counters by moving into the clinch.
Fergisson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Fergisson swats away the attempt to clinch by Walter.

Fergisson throws a head kick but Walter moves out of range.

Walter clinches.

Walter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fergisson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walter tries to close the distance and clinch but Fergisson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fergisson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Turd Fergisson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Walter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fergisson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Walter on his heels. He'll look to pass Walter's guard now, I'm sure.

Fergisson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Walter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walter has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Fergisson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fergisson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walter sprawls well initially but Fergisson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fergisson wants to pass to mount but Walter is defending the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Turd Fergisson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Walter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Walter has closed the distance and engaged Fergisson in a clinch.

Walter continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Fergisson stalls.
Fergisson blocks an elbow strike from Walter.

Fergisson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fergisson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Walter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fergisson is proving hard to escape from.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walter gets to his feet - Fergisson follows without any prompting.

Walter scores with the left hand. Fergisson knows he should have avoided that one.
Walter connects with a high kick.
Walter goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Fergisson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walter sprawls well. Walter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fergisson gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Walter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Walter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fergisson. Fergisson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Walter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fergisson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Walter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fergisson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fergisson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Walter is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fergisson has just dragged him back down to the mat.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Walter tries to escape but Fergisson is in control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fergisson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fergisson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Walter tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Anton Walter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Walter is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Fergisson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fergisson's elbow.
Walter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fergisson avoids it.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Walter.

Walter tries to clinch up but Fergisson circles away and keeps his distance.
Walter throws a series of punches but Fergisson avoids them all with ease.

Walter wants to stand and escape but Fergisson is having none of it.
Walter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fergisson is looking to stand up but Walter won't let him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fergisson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fergisson stays in close to Walter's body and controls the position.
