The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lehner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Lehner sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lehner misses with a straight left.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lehner counters with a good low kick that Gracie was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Renzo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie dives in and grabs Lehner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lehner pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Lehner.
Lehner misses with a looping left.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lehner's waist but Lehner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Lehner throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Gracie moves out of range as Lehner strikes.
Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lehner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lehner walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gracie drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lehner swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gracie's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

In his post fight interview, Robin Lehner started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
