Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Lamonier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Azh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamonier comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Five Minutes Alone. Azh has chosen Manu Militari - Voix De Fait as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamonier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Azh fails with the takedown.
Lamonier cracks Azh with an uppercut from hell and Azh crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lamonier's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Andre Azh has been cut.
Lamonier is looking to stand up but Azh won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lamonier forces his way into half guard.
Lamonier wants to stand but Azh has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Azh goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lamonier turns into him and now he's in Azh's guard.

Azh is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lamonier to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Azh is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lamonier is just riding it out for now. Azh eventually gives up the hold.

Azh wants to pass the guard but Lamonier is keeping the position.

Lamonier on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lamonier tries to get out of the position.
Azh slips nicely into half guard.

Azh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lamonier paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lamonier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Azh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Azh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lamonier pinned against the cage. Lamonier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Larry Lamonier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Azh.
Nice defenses there by Azh.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Lamonier throws a hook to the side of Azh's head but Azh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lamonier keeps the fight on the outside.
Lamonier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Azh.
Azh changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lamonier tries to avoid it but Azh manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lamonier to the ground. Lamonier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
