Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steven Mann will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann is looking to clinch but Suzuki is avoiding it.
Mann tries to clinch up.
Mann closes the distance and clinches up with Suzuki, looking for a takedown. Mann pushes Suzuki against the cage but Suzuki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suzuki pinned against the cage. Suzuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Suzuki but Suzuki pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yoshi Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Mann.

Suzuki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Suzuki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Suzuki landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Suzuki uses his free foot to push down on Mann's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mann.
Mann has given up his back.

Suzuki is looking for the choke from the back position but Mann is controlling his hands well.
