Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sonny Sausage!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nice defenses there by Sausage.
Sausage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stevens.
Sausage slips a jab and a cross from Stevens.
We've been told by Sausage's head coaches at Legendary .Inc that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stevens misses with a wild combination.
Sausage tries to move into range but Stevens moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Stevens throws a hook but Sausage blocks it.
Stevens misses with an uppercut. Sausage saw that one coming.
Stevens takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Stevens gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like Mike Stevens has been cut.
Stevens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sausage counters with a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stevens displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sausage throws out the jab.

Sausage paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sausage is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Sausage pushes Stevens away with a front kick.
Sausage scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sausage.
Stevens looks winded!
Sausage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Oooh a lovely combination from Sausage sends Stevens down but not out. Sausage dives into side control looking to finish.


Stevens is rocked!


That has opened up Mike Stevens's cut even more.
Sausage is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Stevens is still in real trouble! Can Sausage finish him?
Stevens seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sausage has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sausage is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stevens knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sausage works to advance to full mount. Stevens defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Stevens is trying to reverse the position but instead Sausage has taken his back - oops!

Sausage gets his hands free as Stevens looks to control.
Stevens rolls, trying to escape but Sausage keeps control of the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Sausage's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Stevens has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Sausage is hanging on to Stevens's back as he tries to escape.

Stevens keeps trying to improve his position.
Sausage has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Stevens's body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stevens trying to control the hands but Sausage won't let him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sausage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Stevens ducks under a wild hook from Sausage.
Sausage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sausage lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stevens backs up against the cage.
Sausage looks to land a left hand but Stevens moved out of range nicely.
Stevens throws a looping overhand right but Sausage ducks down to avoid it.
Sausage bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stevens's head backwards.
Sausage connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stevens misses with the combination.
Stevens wants to clinch up but Sausage keeps it at a distance.
Sausage is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Stevens can do to turn this around?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.
Good leg kick by Sausage there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sausage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sausage is looking to slow Stevens down with leg kicks.
Stevens misses with a few strikes there.
Stevens swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sausage throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Stevens walks into a straight right hand from Sausage.

Stevens might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Sausage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


The cut above Mike Stevens's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sausage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mike Stevens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stevens's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sausage connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stevens scrambles back to his feet.

Sausage connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stevens. Stevens circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sausage is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sausage lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Sausage lands a big right hook! Stevens looks hurt but is still standing! Sausage lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Stevens falls down and Sausage dives in with a huge hammer fist! Stevens's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Sausage runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sonny Sausage!

After winning the bout, Sonny Sausage thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
