Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Fister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Chainsaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chainsaw has chosen Give Me Everything -Pitbull/ as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Fister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Chainsaw!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chainsaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chainsaw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fister fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fister tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chainsaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chainsaw lands with a hook. Fister tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fister tries to clinch up.

Fister closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chainsaw quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chainsaw tries to roll over but Fister keeps him under control.
Fister wants to free his trapped foot but Chainsaw is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chainsaw looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fister perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Fister has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Chainsaw moves into full guard.
Chainsaw wants to stand but Fister is controlling the position.
Fister content to stall in guard here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Fister.

Fister decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Chainsaw is trying to get back to full guard.
Chainsaw works his way to full guard. Good work.

Fister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chainsaw on the ground.
Chainsaw is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fister would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Chainsaw wants to sweep here but Fister controlling him for the moment.
Chainsaw keeping moving, preventing Fister from controlling successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Fister is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chainsaw's half guard.

Fister wants to stand but Chainsaw has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Fister wants to take a breather but Chainsaw is having none of it.
Fister is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Frank Fister wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Fister drives through and clinches with Chainsaw against the cage.
Chainsaw is trying to break free.
Fister has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chainsaw avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Fister. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fister has Chainsaw pressed against the cage, preventing Chainsaw from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Chainsaw is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Fister is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chainsaw swivels and escapes.
Fister doesn't manage to clinch there - Chainsaw circles away.
Chainsaw avoids the head kick by Fister.
Fister fails in his attempt to clinch.
Chainsaw's corner calls for a 1-2. Chainsaw obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fister takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fister dives in for a single leg takedown but Chainsaw sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fister blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Chainsaw's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fister tries to clinch up.
Chainsaw wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Fister dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A combination from Chainsaw does no damage.
Chainsaw connects with a nice looking jab.
Fister shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chainsaw sprawls well. Chainsaw wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fister gets slowly back to his feet.
Chainsaw misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fister avoids the body shot from Chainsaw.
Chainsaw leaves Fister with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Chainsaw lands a nice shot to the body.
Chainsaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fister moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Chainsaw throws an overhand right that lands on Fister's shoulder, as Fister tries to avoid the shot.
Fister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chainsaw displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Chainsaw fails to land with a series of punches.
Chainsaw stuffs the takedown attempt from Fister. Fister gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Fister. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jason Chainsaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chainsaw throws a body punch but Fister moves out of range.
Fister throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Chainsaw throws a series of strikes that have Fister backpedaling.
Chainsaw throws a right and a left that Fister avoids nicely.
Fister looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chainsaw is fending him off so far but Fister persists. Nope, Chainsaw circles away and we're back to standing.

Fister tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chainsaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chainsaw lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fister shoots in but no luck this time.
Chainsaw moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fister is defended easily by Chainsaw.
Chainsaw works over Fister's head and body with a nice combination.
Fister has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chainsaw tries to avoid it but Fister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chainsaw to the ground. Chainsaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fister darts in looking for a takedown but Chainsaw gets double underhooks and turns Fister into the cage.

Chainsaw's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fister takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
No luck for Fister with that takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Chainsaw both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fister drives through with a takedown into Chainsaw's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chainsaw bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fister's guard.

Fister had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chainsaw defends it easily.

Jason Chainsaw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Fister dives in and grabs Chainsaw's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chainsaw pushes down on Fister's head and hops out.
Fister shoots for a double leg takedown but Chainsaw sprawls well. He's pushed Fister's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fister tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chainsaw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fister will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Chainsaw wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fister manages to pass to side control.
Well, if Fister is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fister is looking to work some ground and pound but Chainsaw has wrist control.
Chainsaw is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chainsaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fister is looking to escape.
Fister trying desperately to get to his feet.

Chainsaw controlling the pace for now.
Chainsaw prevents Fister from getting the reversal.
Fister is squirming around, avoiding Chainsaw's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jason Chainsaw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chainsaw has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
