Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yancey Dunlap!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Austin or perhaps it was just good defense by Dunlap which made him look bad.
A combination from Austin does no damage.
Dunlap swats away the attempt to clinch by Austin.

Austin looks for a takedown but Dunlap sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Austin.

Dunlap misses with a combination
and Austin counters with a series of strikes. Dunlap will be more careful next time no doubt.

Dunlap wants to get back to his feet but Austin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Austin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dunlap wants to get up but he can't break Austin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

and Dunlap counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Austin off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Dunlap follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Austin was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yancey Dunlap!
