Shafiq comes to the cage accompanied by Booty Butt Cheeks. Youseff Shafiq is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reus closes the distance and clinches.
A knee to the head by Reus.
Shafiq tries to pull guard but Reus won't allow it.
Reus manages to break the clinch.
Reus looking to score a takedown here. Shafiq is defending well but Reus drives through and ends up in Shafiq's guard.
Shafiq throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Reus escapes and throws Shafiq's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Shafiq is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Reus in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Reus is trying to get an arm triangle but Shafiq is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Shafiq's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shafiq is trying to improve his position.
Reus tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Shafiq parries the strikes from Reus easily there. Reus is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shafiq to escape.
Shafiq tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reus wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Reus throws an elbow but Shafiq slips to the side and avoids it well.
Reus cracks Shafiq with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Shafiq sneaks back into half guard.
Shafiq wants to improve his position but Reus is controlling well.
Shafiq is working hard here to advance position.

Reus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shafiq does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Shafiq gets back to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shafiq tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shafiq has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shafiq bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reus's guard.

Reus wants to sweep here but Shafiq controlling him for the moment.
Reus had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shafiq defends it easily.
Shafiq trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Reus keeping moving, preventing Shafiq from controlling successfully.
Shafiq sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reus's guard.
Shafiq seems to be looking for submissions.
Reus has one foot on Shafiq's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Reus looks winded!
Shafiq fails with a takedown attempt.

Reus dives in and scores a takedown into Shafiq's guard.
Reus stands up over Shafiq, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Reus wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Shafiq's closed guard. He's half up but Shafiq has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Shafiq pivots and extends the arm, Reus falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Shafiq! Well done that man!
