Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen On To The Next One as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Barney Lee!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lee avoids the body shot from Marsh.
Lee slips under a jab from Marsh.
Marsh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lee on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A big left from Lee misses.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Marsh gets a takedown into half guard.
Marsh prevents Lee from improving his position.
Marsh wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee won't allow Marsh to pass to mount.
Marsh is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position.
Marsh passes the guard and advances to mount!
Lee takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
Lee is squirming around, avoiding Marsh's attempts to control the action.
Marsh is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Marsh with a couple of short strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Marsh lands a couple of good shots and Lee has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Marsh is working the ground and pound. Can Lee escape?


Lee is rocked!
Marsh is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Marsh gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Marsh gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Marsh apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Marsh finish him?
Lee ducks right into an uppercut from Marsh.

Marsh lands a nice looking body shot.
Horrible takedown by Marsh or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marsh.
Lee looks to clinch

and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Marsh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Marsh tries to pass to full mount but Lee defends it.
Marsh looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Marsh is looking to pass Lee's guard but actually Lee recovers to full guard.

Lee keeping moving, preventing Marsh from controlling successfully.
Marsh advances to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head.
Lee is trying to get back to full guard.
Marsh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marsh is really struggling to control Lee but he's trying to hold on to the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Marsh dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Marsh jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marsh throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
Lee tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Lee throws a jab when Marsh was well out of range.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Marsh's head but Marsh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Marsh throws a big shot that misses.
Marsh slips under a jab from Lee.

Marsh throws a right hand that misses
and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marsh blocks a jab.

Marsh slips under a jab from Lee.
Marsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Marsh lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Good shot there by Marsh.
Marsh missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Marsh jabs at Lee's body.
Marsh misses with a left hand
and Lee counters with a stiff right hand.

Lee forces Marsh back against the cage and clinches.
Lee misses with a punch to the body.
Lee fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lee misses with the head strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marsh goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Marsh throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it.
Marsh feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Marsh fails with a takedown attempt.
Randy Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee slips under a jab from Marsh.
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marsh.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee misses the jab.
Marsh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Barney Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marsh.
Lee looks to land a combination but Marsh avoids it well.
A jab from Lee misses.
Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lee tries to bum rush Marsh with a series of wild strikes but Marsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marsh connects with a body shot that sends Lee's belly button to the back.
Marsh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Marsh.

Lee throws the left hand but Marsh avoids the punch easily.
Marsh shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marsh throws out the jab.
Lee tries to clinch up.
Marsh stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Marsh fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lee connects with an inside leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Marsh scores with a sloppy right hand. Lee should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Danga de danga de dang - Lee scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Randy Marsh has been cut.
Marsh paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Barney Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Randy Marsh's cut.
That's time! Marsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Marsh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Lee. Those never looked like landing.
Lee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Randy Marsh is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee scores with a jab. Marsh acknowledges it with a nod of the head.


Marsh is rocked!
Marsh misses with a left hand
and Lee rattles Marsh with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Marsh tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Lee dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Marsh stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Barney Lee!
Our winner, Barney Lee, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
