Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuku Xumusu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Bratcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kuku Xumusu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Damian Bratcher!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bratcher connects with a solid leg kick.
Xumusu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bratcher.
Bratcher misses with a looping right.
No joy there for Bratcher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bratcher looks to land a left hand but Xumusu moved out of range nicely.
Bratcher lands a nice shot to the body.
Bratcher scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Xumusu doesn't seem bothered though.
Bratcher buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Xumusu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bratcher's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xumusu passes Bratcher's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bratcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Xumusu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Xumusu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Bratcher is defending against the submission attempts here by Xumusu.

Xumusu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Xumusu trying to pass the guard but Bratcher defending well.

Xumusu is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bratcher wants to improve his position but Xumusu is controlling well.

Xumusu decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Damian Bratcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bratcher doesn't manage to clinch there - Xumusu circles away.
Nice body kick there by Bratcher.
Xumusu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Xumusu shoots in and bounces Bratcher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Xumusu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Xumusu is working to tighten is grip on Bratcher's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bratcher has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Xumusu is really squeezing tight and eventually Bratcher passes out! Xumusu breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
