PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ka Bann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kantaro Hoshino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bann tries to clinch up
letting Hoshino counter with a right hand.
Hoshino has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bann is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bann lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hoshino's sensitive parts.
Hoshino lands a nice looking body shot.
Bann is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hoshino lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bann circles away quickly and effectively.
Hoshino throws a hook but Bann avoids it easily.
Bann tries to clinch up but Hoshino circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hoshino counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bann closes the distance but Hoshino moves to the side
and Bann takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hoshino cracks Bann with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bann takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Hoshino counters with a nice right hand that sends Bann toppling to the canvas! Bann scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hoshino finish him?!

Bann is rocked!

Bann tries to clinch but Hoshino moves out of range.
Hoshino cracks Bann with a hook to the temple - Bann is on wobbly legs here! Hoshino swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bann falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hoshino wins by TKO!
