Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Baader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Bubba Joe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bubba Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andreas Baader!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe throws a series of punches but Baader avoids them all with ease.
Baader takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Andreas Baader has been cut.
Baader shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joe pinned against the cage. Joe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Baader fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Baader feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Baader forces his way into half guard.
Baader takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Joe lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Joe misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Baader is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Joe makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Joe.

Joe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Baader is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Joe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Baader wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving.
Joe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Baader is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Joe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Joe tries for a takedown but Baader circles away easily

and Baader counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Joe's guard now.
Baader looks gassed!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baader is one step ahead there.

Baader tries to pass to full mount but Joe defends it.
Baader scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Baader content to control rather than advance.
Baader works his foot free and advances to mount.

Baader is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Joe has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Joe defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Baader.

Joe gets caught flat footed, as Baader shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Joe throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Baader stays in close to Joe's body and controls the position.

Joe pushes Baader off and scrambles back to his feet.
Baader wants to clinch up but Joe keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Joe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Joe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Joe is squirming around, avoiding Baader's attempts to control the action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Andreas Baader just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Baader bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Baader staying calm.
Baader's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Baader tries to advance to mount but Joe denies him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Baader wants to lay and pray for a moment but Joe keeps working.

and Joe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Baader gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Baader fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Joe sprawls well initially but Baader persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baader is keen to just control but Joe is a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Joe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Joe is keen to just control but Baader is a slippery customer.
Ground and pound from Joe.
Baader preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Joe not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Joe thows a huge punch but Baader dodges it nicely.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Oooh a lovely combination from Joe sends Baader down but not out. Joe dives into side control looking to finish.

Andreas Baader comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Baader winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
