The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi thows a body shot but no joy.
Yi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Collins moves away.
Yi tries to clinch up.

and Collins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Yi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Collins was covering up waiting for the punch and Yi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Collins is pulling down on Yi's head. It's preventing any offense from Yi, at least for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Collins counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Yi off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Collins follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Yi was out before he hit the floor.
