Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bill Lib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Boukas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Niko Boukas!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lib shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boukas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Our spies down at at Pitbull MMA inform us that Boukas has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Boukas looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lib throws a big right hand that misses.

Boukas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lib's guard.

Lib has his foot on Boukas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boukas works his way back into a safe position though.
Lib wants to stand and escape but Boukas is having none of it.
Lib knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boukas on the ground.

Lib working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boukas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boukas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boukas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lib looks a forlorn figure.

Lib takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Boukas's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
