PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Da Cougar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cougar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Those Damn Blue Collar Tweekers. The crowd seem to be enjoying Torres's choice of entrance music: It's My Time-Fabulous. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Da Cougar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felipe Torres!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cougar lands with a nice combination. Torres backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Felipe Torres has been cut.
Torres loads up on a big right hand but Cougar slips the punch.
Torres stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Torres drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cougar throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Cougar tries to bench press Torres off him but Torres keeps the position.
Torres in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Torres tries for a kimura but Cougar is defending well.
Cougar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cougar is looking to improve his position.
Cougar looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cougar taking some punishment here, with Torres in his half guard.
Torres tries to pass to full mount but Cougar defends it.

Torres is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cougar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Torres.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cougar lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Torres has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cougar defend it? Torres steps over the head and cranks it - Cougar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Torres!
