Samael wants to clinch.
Samael throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. De Moraes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Samael is in De Moraes's guard.
Samael trying to control but De Moraes is working from the bottom.
Samael forces his way into half guard.
Samael wants to stand but De Moraes has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
De Moraes won't allow Samael to pass to mount.

Samael is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. De Moraes is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. De Moraes flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Samael anticipates the leg and manages to get behind De Moraes and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Samael slips an arm under De Moraes chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Samael has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Samael is squeezing on De Moraes like an anaconda would it's prey. De Moraes fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Solomon Samael!
Solomon Samael bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
