The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a jab when Sabre was well out of range.
Sabre is trying hard to land a takedown here. Evans sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Evans sizes up Sabre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Evans throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Evans throws a low kick but Sabre avoids it.
Sabre moves out of range of the strikes.

Evans lands a big uppercut and Sabre crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sabre looks OK. Evans waves Sabre back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Evans lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Sabre head around and knocks him out cold! Evans hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

After winning the bout, Aaron Evans thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
