The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto dives in for a single leg takedown but Soto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Soto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pinto takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like H Romeu Pinto has been cut.
Pinto goes for a double leg but Soto avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Soto continues to drive forward.

Dominic Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of H Romeu Pinto.

Pinto throws a nice looking combination but Soto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pinto is trying desperately to land a takedown but Soto is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pinto.

Pinto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Soto throws a front kick that sends Pinto stumbling back into the cage.
