The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Washington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ramano as he avoids it easily.
Ramano catches Washington with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ramano misses with a few strikes there.
Washington swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Washington shoots for a double leg takedown but Ramano sprawls well. He's pushed Washington's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Washington. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Ramano. No joy for Washington on that attempt.
Washington will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Washington looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ramano is fending him off so far but Washington persists. Nope, Ramano circles away and we're back to standing.

Mo Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Washington.
Ramano is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Washington hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
