PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Rugova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan White struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rugova checks a leg kick nicely.

Rugova tries to keep at a distance but White has taken the fight into the clinch.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rugova uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.
White misses the shot to the body.
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White cracks the inside of Rugova's front leg.
White takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rugova fails to land with a series of punches.
Rugova tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
White attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
White throws a head kick but Rugova moves out of range.
White slips a straight right by Rugova.
Rugova will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Rugova, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Good leg kick by White there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
White misses with a low kick.
Rugova pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from White lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rugova has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rugova and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rugova throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick by Rugova - that's a beauty! White is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Rugova can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
