PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikkel Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kru Maccy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kru Maccy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maccy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Larsen avoids the head kick by Maccy.

Larsen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Larsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Larsen walks into a stiff left hand from Maccy.
Larsen tries to clinch but Maccy is having none of it.
Maccy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Larsen tries to clinch up.
Larsen fails with a takedown attempt.
Larsen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maccy lands a leg kick that knocks Larsen off balance momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maccy swats away the attempt to clinch by Larsen.
Larsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maccy tries to avoid it but Larsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maccy to the ground. Maccy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Larsen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maccy as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikkel Larsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maccy throws a right and a left that Larsen avoids nicely.
Larsen fails to land the takedown.

Maccy lands a big head kick that sends Larsen tumbling to the mat! Maccy takes a step backwards and waves Larsen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Larsen is rocked!

Maccy connects with a superb combination that knocks Larsen out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Maccy before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Larsen!
