Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dejesus tries to clinch but Veiwus moves out of range.
Dejesus looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Dejesus counters with a shoot takedown. Veiwus fights it but they end up in guard.
Dejesus is fighting to break Veiwus's control of his arms but Veiwus is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Veiwus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dejesus can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dejesus gets caught flat footed, as Veiwus shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Veiwus tries to free his leg and advance position but Dejesus is retaining full guard.
Dejesus keeping moving, preventing Veiwus from controlling successfully.
Dejesus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Veiwus distracts Dejesus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Veiwus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dejesus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dejesus has his foot on Veiwus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Veiwus works his way back into a safe position though.

Veiwus stands and throws Dejesus's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Veiwus wants to control but Dejesus is keeping him busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Dejesus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Veiwus's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Dejesus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Veiwus's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Veiwus's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dejesus is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Veiwus is defending well though. Dejesus let's go of the attempt for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Veiwus breaks Dejesus's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Veiwus has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Veiwus circles away from the clinch attempt
and Veiwus counters with a big head kick but Dejesus shrugs it off.
Dejesus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dejesus is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Veiwus.
Promos Veiwus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dejesus blocks the body kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Veiwus.

Veiwus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Veiwus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Veiwus is putting a hurting on Dejesus here, landing some big shots from side control.
Dejesus tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Veiwus tries to close the distance and clinch but Dejesus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dejesus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dejesus fails to take his opponent's back.
Dejesus trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Dejesus has hold of Veiwus's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Veiwus manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dejesus slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Dejesus is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Veiwus up.
What can Veiwus do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dejesus is wriggling around but Veiwus manages to pass to half guard.

Dejesus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Veiwus, pushing him back against the cage.
Veiwus scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dejesus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Veiwus pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Veiwus wants to break free but Dejesus has control.
Dejesus gets underhooks to prevent Veiwus's takedown attempt.

Dejesus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Veiwus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Veiwus is trying to control Dejesus's posture but Dejesus avoids it.
Veiwus manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dejesus's best efforts.
