Nogueria tries to close the distance and clinch but Volkov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Volkov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Volkov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nogueria eats them both and turns towards Volkov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nogueria shoots for a double leg takedown but Volkov sprawls well. He's pushed Nogueria's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Volkov is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Volkov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Nogueria looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Volkov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Noguerias jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Well Volkov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
