The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamel thows a body kick. Hopkins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kamel scores with a decent looking hook.
Hopkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Kamel counters with a nice leg kick.
Kamel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hopkins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kamel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hopkins scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Adam Hopkins has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hopkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kamel pinned against the cage. Kamel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kamel scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Hopkins shoots in and drives through. Kamel sprawls well.
Hopkins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kamel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kamel.

and Kamel counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Kamel dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hopkins. That did some damage!

and Kamel counters with a series of strikes that sends Hopkins to the canvas! Kamel follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Hopkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kamel has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hopkins is looking to defend but Kamel has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hopkins! Kamel pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hopkins taps out and this one is all over!
