The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Freedom tenderised Easterlund's leg. Easterlund is trying to keep his angry face on.
Easterlund throws a hook but Freedom blocks it.
Freedom avoids the head kick by Easterlund.
Some bone on bone action there as Easterlund checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Easterlund moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Freedom has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Easterlund dives in and grabs Freedom's left leg, looking for a takedown. Freedom pushes down on Easterlund's head and hops out.

and Freedom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Freedom tries to work over Easterlund's front leg with a kick but Easterlund checks it.
The fighters circling - Easterlund throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Some bone on bone action there as Freedom checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Easterlund shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Freedom eats them both and turns towards Easterlund to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Freedom throws a right hand that Easterlund ducks under and follows up with a left that Easterlund also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Easterlund gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Easterlund looks to land a combination. Freedom sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Easterlund takes a kick to the side of the head.
Easterlund looks to land a right hand but Freedom moved out of range.
Freedom ducks under a wild hook from Easterlund.
Easterlund throws a shot from downtown. Freedom moves away and avoids it.

Easterlund throws a nice looking combination but Freedom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Donk. Easterlund catches Freedom right on the button with a cross.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Easterlund's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Freedom connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Easterlund scrambles back to his feet.
Easterlund throws out a leg kick but Freedom moves out of range and Easterlund only half commits.
Freedom keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Easterlund rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Freedom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Werkka Easterlund will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freedom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Easterlund stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Freedom lands with a cross.
Easterlund is rocked!
A slapping leg kick lands for Freedom.
Oh Easterlund is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Easterlund switches off momentarily and Freedom cracks him with a monster right hand! Easterlund topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Freedom dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Freedom!
