Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chras Watsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone's entrance music is Where Everybody Knows Your Name. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Watsky ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Malone misses with a looping right.

Watsky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Watsky is trying to trip Malone. He has hold of a leg but Malone is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Watsky persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Malone seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Malone manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Malone is landing with some decent strikes but Watsky is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Malone is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Watsky is surviving well by controlling Malone's body position as best he can.

Malone swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Watsky is now in Malone's guard. A big mistake from Malone there, giving up the dominant position!

Malone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Watsky is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Malone can't keep his opponent in guard - Watsky advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Watsky is looking to take a break and control but Malone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Watsky tries to score a power double leg takedown but Malone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Watsky somewhat.

Malone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Watsky tries to avoid it but Malone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Watsky to the ground. Watsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
