Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dada Chisaraokwu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaver is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: mind of a maniac. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chisaraokwu is defended easily by Beaver.

and Beaver counters by moving into the clinch.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Beaver goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chisaraokwu prevents it.

Chisaraokwu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beaver avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Beaver wants to take the fight to the mat but Chisaraokwu manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dada Chisaraokwu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Beaver.

Chisaraokwu is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Beaver can't fight it off and eventually Chisaraokwu manages to take the fight to the floor. Beaver looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
