Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Wittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Diol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Diol is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wittman looks for a takedown but Diol sprawls well.
Wittman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diol as he avoids it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diol has his foot on Wittman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wittman works his way back into a safe position though.

Diol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wittman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Diol can't keep his opponent in guard - Wittman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Diol is trying to maintain the position but Wittman is very close to passing his half guard.
Diol really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wittman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wittman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diol's guard.
Diol wants to control but Wittman passes into side.

Diol has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Diol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wittman has got his arm under Diol's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Diol has spun round into Wittman's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

Diol feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wittman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diol can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wittman is working for a rear naked choke. Diol is not defending it well and Wittman has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Diol refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Diol's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
