Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augostino Peitexeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irving Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Irving Brown!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Peitexeira. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brown connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Augostino Peitexeira has been cut.
Peitexeira walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brown.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown cracks the inside of Peitexeira's front leg.
Peitexeira lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A solid body kick from Brown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice uppercut lands for Brown. That snapped Peitexeira's head back.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Peitexeira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Peitexeira knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brown throws a low kick but Peitexeira avoids it.

Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Peitexeiras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Peitexeira fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into Peitexeira's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brown thows a body kick. Peitexeira tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Brown postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Peitexeira in real trouble here! The ref calls for Peitexeira to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
