The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowlsby looks to land a right hand but Bayless moved out of range.
Bowlsby lands a right hook to the body.
Bayless doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bowlsby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Skip Bayless has been cut.
Bayless shoots for a double leg takedown but Bowlsby sprawls well. He's pushed Bayless's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bayless shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bowlsby as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skip Bayless. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bowlsby slaps away a takedown attempt from Bayless, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bayless on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Bowlsby lands the left hand.
Bowlsby stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bowlsby wants it to stay on the feet.
Bowlsby drops Bayless with a straight right hand, right on the button! Bowlsby follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
