Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kamryn Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Mutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bullet In My Hand by Redlight King. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamryn Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jordan Mutch!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutch lands a head shot.
Black swinging wildly here.
Black scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Mutch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Black misses with a series of wild punches.
Mutch avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mutch.
Black tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Black misses with a two punch combination.
Mutch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Black pushes Mutch away with a front kick.
Mutch sizes up Black with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Black counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Black bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mutch shoots for a double leg takedown but Black sprawls well. He's pushed Mutch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mutch takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Black feints and as Mutch raises his hands in defense, Black changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Mutch can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

We've been hearing that Black has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Black throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Mutch's temple.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Black is nestled in close to Mutch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mutch wants to control but Black is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mutch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Black doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Black manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Black drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mutch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Black has Mutch in his guard.

Black had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mutch defends it easily.

Black has his foot on Mutch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mutch works his way back into a safe position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mutch pushes down on Black's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Kamryn Black will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Black scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mutch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mutch throws a right hand that Black ducks under and follows up with a left that Black also avoids with ease.

Black gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mutch to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Black has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mutch is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Black.

Jordan Mutch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Mutch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it.

Mutch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from Mutch.
Black moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Mutch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.

Black takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Black avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mutch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Black buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mutch slips a jab and a cross from Black.
Mutch has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Jordan Mutch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mutch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
