The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ortiz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Liddell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ortiz clinches with his opponent.
Ortiz scores with a hook to the body.
Ortiz goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ortiz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Liddell backwards.
Ortiz lands with a short punch from the clinch.

It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Ortiz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ortiz lands a shoulder strike.
Liddell takes a shot to the head.
Liddell with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Ortiz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ortiz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Liddell, pushing him back against the ropes.

Ortiz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ortiz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ortiz throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Liddells head.

Ortiz lands a left hand.
Liddell prevents a body shot from Ortiz.
Liddell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ortiz misses with the head strike.
Ortiz digs a right hand underneath Liddell's ribcage. Liddell let out a lung full of air as it connected.

A nice right hand lands inside from Ortiz.
Ortiz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Liddell backwards.
Liddell blocks an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Ortiz scores with a nice short uppercut.

Liddell is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ortiz drops Liddell with a massive uppercut from the clinch! Oh my word, Liddell is out cold! What a knockout!
