The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Liva.
A good leg kick by Liva.
A jab lands there for Liva.

It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Pita Liva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liddell circles away quickly and effectively.
Liva lands a head kick. Liddell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Liddell fails to land the takedown.

Liva lands a big head kick that sends Liddell tumbling to the mat! Liva takes a step backwards and waves Liddell back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Liva looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Liva backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Liddell's temple! It sends Liddell violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Liva celebrates and the doctors try to help Liddell!
