The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs tries to clinch up.

Barnes drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jacobs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jacobs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barnes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jacobs tries to close the distance and clinch but Barnes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jacobs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barnes's calf.

Jacobs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barnes, pushing him back against the cage.
Barnes prevents Jacobs from breaking the clinch.

Jacobs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jacobs misses with a body kick.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Barnes has eaten all the pies!
Barnes takes a kick to the side of the head.

Justin Jacobs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jacobs circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Barnes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Jacobs follows Barnes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
