Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valko Dragov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Zoolander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragov comes into the arena with Go to Sleep - Eminem, Obie Trice, & DMX blaring out of the sound system. Zoolander comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Relax (Don't Do It)- Frankie Goes To Hollywood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Valko Dragov had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derek Zoolander!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoolander lands a nice hook to Dragov's body. Dragov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Valko Dragov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dragov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dragov lands in his opponent's guard.
Dragov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dragov works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've been hearing that Dragov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Zoolander has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dragov is working away from the top position though.
Dragov prevents Zoolander from improving his position.

Dragov wants to take a breather but Zoolander is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dragov winds up and cracks Zoolander with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zoolander is looking to control Dragov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zoolander avoid being mounted?

Dragov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zoolander does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dragov wants to control from the top but Zoolander keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zoolander scores with a hook to the body. Dragov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dragov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dragov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sloppy strikes from Zoolander. Those never looked like landing.

Dragov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zoolander avoids it really well and circles away.

Zoolander gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dragov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dragov wants to control from the top but Zoolander keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zoolander controls Dragov momentarily but Dragov frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Valko Dragov dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Dragov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zoolander avoids it really well and circles away.

Zoolander has closed the distance and engaged Dragov in a clinch.
Zoolander lands with a left to the head.
Dragov prevents a body shot from Zoolander.
Dragov tries to score a body lock takedown but Zoolander shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Zoolander throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dragovs head.
Dragov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zoolander is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valko Dragov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Zoolander tries to throw a body punch but Dragov avoids it by throwing Zoolander back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Dragov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Zoolander is defending well.

Dragov is working for takedown but Zoolander is calmly controlling the position for now.
Zoolander throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Zoolander presses Dragov against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Zoolander lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dragov backwards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dragov wants a takedown but no success here.
A nice left hand lands by Zoolander.
Zoolander is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Dragov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Dragov is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Dragov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zoolander lands with a left to the head.
Zoolander lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Dragov to his knees! Zoolander keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

A very excited looking Derek Zoolander rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
