Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fasu Veijari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Jarvinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veijari tries to close the distance and clinch but Jarvinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jarvinen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Veijari shoots in but Jarvinen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jarvinen lands an overhand right.
Joni Jarvinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jarvinen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Veijari moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Veijari tries to keep at a distance but Jarvinen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Veijari wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jarvinen wants to get back to striking at distance but Veijari won't allow it.
Veijari drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jarvinen pulls his leg out and moves away.

Veijari wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Veijari is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Jarvinen gets underhooks to prevent Veijari's takedown attempt.

Veijari bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jarvinen's guard.

Veijari seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jarvinen is in trouble now - Veijari has advanced to mount!

Jarvinen has left one of his arms exposed and Veijari doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jarvinen screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
