The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monkey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mamba managing to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamba's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Monkey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Mamba is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mamba holds on and takes a little breather.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Black Mamba hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Monkey tries to stand and escape but Mamba actually recovers to full guard.
Mamba has a closed guard, preventing Monkey from standing up.
Monkey trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Mamba has his feet on Monkey's thighs here. He's pushed Monkey off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Monkey screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
