Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nobuo Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyubi Sojat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakuraba's entrance music is Mono - Battle for Heaven. A fine choice. Nobuo Sakuraba had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sojat misses the jab.
Sojat looks to land a left hand but Sakuraba moved out of range nicely.
Sojat swinging wildly here.

Sakuraba shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sojat keeping moving, preventing Sakuraba from controlling successfully.
Sakuraba might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sakuraba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sojat looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Sojat is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sakuraba throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sojat's body to avoid the submission. Sojat has instead reached around Sakuraba's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sojat arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
