Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ravi Singh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Roy!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh thows a body shot but no joy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Roy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Roy is fighting to break Singh's control of his arms but Singh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Roy throws a strike but Singh rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Roy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Singh defends it easily.

We've been hearing that Singh has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Singh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Singh wants to control from the top but Roy keeps moving.
Singh passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Roy has a hand on Singh's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Singh takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Singh is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Roy is surviving well by controlling Singh's body position as best he can.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Singh lands a jab to Roy's midsection.
Roy throws a shot from downtown. Singh moves away and avoids it.
Roy throws out a loose jab but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Singh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roy.
Roy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Lucas Roy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Singh to counter with a crisp jab.
Singh swings for the body but Roy moves out of range.

Singh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Singh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Roy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roy.
Ravi Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Roy.

Roy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Singh.
Singh catches Roy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Roy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Singh manages to avoid it.
Singh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Roy on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Singh not doing much here.
Roy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Singh scores with a couple of nice shots.
Roy is still in real trouble! Can Singh finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Singh pulls his head out easily.
Roy seems to have recovered his senses.
Singh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Singh works his way into side control.
Roy is looking for a sweep.
Singh wants to control but Roy is keeping him busy.
Roy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Roy is looking to regain half guard here but Singh keeps moving and retains side control.

Roy keeps trying to improve his position.
Singh is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Roy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Roy gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Roy wants to improve his position but Singh is controlling well.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Roy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Sloppy strikes from Roy. Those never looked like landing.
Roy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Roy throws a right and a left that Singh avoids nicely.
Singh lands a nice shot to the body.
Singh's corner calls for a 1-2. Singh obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Singh leaves Roy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Singh drops Roy with a beautiful combination! Roy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Singh is looking for the KO!
Roy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Roy walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Roy limp body while Singh jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ravi Singh!
