The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Albaf scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Adian makes his way to full guard, as Albaf worked for a kimura.

Adian lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Albaf!
Adian can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Albaf is looking to escape.

Adian is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Albaf has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Albaf!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Plei Adian wasn't active enough on the ground.
Adian dives in and grabs Albaf's left leg, looking for a takedown. Albaf pushes down on Adian's head and hops out.
Albaf stuffs the takedown.

Albaf closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Adian tries to roll over but Albaf keeps him under control.
Adian wants to get back to his feet.

Albaf seems to be working for a kimura but Adian defends the submission attempt.

Albaf is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Adian is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
