Belt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dance of the Knights kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Casey Ryback has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Belt throws a nice looking combination but Ryback bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ryback lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ryback looks to land a body kick but Belt moved away.
Ryback misses with a hook. Belt ducked under it nicely.
Belt checks a low kick from Ryback.
Ryback throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Casey Ryback seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Belt tries to land a front kick but Ryback steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Belt cracks a nice hook into Ryback's ribs.

and Belt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Ryback tries to score with a low kick but Belt moves his leg out of the way.

Belt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ryback is looking to chop away at Belt's legs.
Belt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Belt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ryback, pushing him back against the cage.
Belt on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Belt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Belt jumps guard but Ryback stands there with Belt around his waist. Belt gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Casey Ryback has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Red Belt.
Ryback creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Ryback goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Belt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ryback pinned against the cage. Ryback gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryback shoots in looking for a takedown but Belt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryback's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Belt throws a nice looking combination but Ryback bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Belt darts in looking for a takedown but Ryback gets double underhooks and turns Belt into the cage.
Belt has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ryback avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Belt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ryback's guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Belt trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ryback looking to hit a scissor sweep but Belt is one step ahead there.
Belt working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ryback's head.
Belt throws an elbow that misses. Ryback uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Belt's guard. Nice move by Ryback!
Belt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Belt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ryback doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belt chips away with some ground and pound.
Ryback wants to sweep but no luck.

Ryback avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Belt.
Belt throws an elbow but Ryback slips to the side and avoids it well.

Belt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Belt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ryback can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ryback is desperately trying to improve his position but Belt has a good base and remains in mount.

Red Belt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Belt gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ryback to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ryback drops back looking for a leg! Belt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belt manages to kick Ryback off! Ryback jumps back into Belt's guard.

Belt wants to stand and escape but Ryback is having none of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Belt seems keen to control Ryback's posture.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Red Belt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Belt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ryback is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Belt is trying to drag Ryback to the mat but Ryback just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ryback is pressed up against the cage. Belt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ryback down to the mat. Ryback avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Belt takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Ryback throws a chopping leg kick but Belt manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Belt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ryback.
Belt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryback sprawls well. Ryback wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Belt gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
